Let me introduce my beloved country.
Indonesia..

Indonesia has many wonderful waterfall, here's a few of them.

Two Color Waterfalls  (Medan - North Sumatra)






Two Color Sibolangit Waterfall is located in the village of Durin Sirugun, the foot of Mount Sibayak, North Sumatra. Can be reached through land route, across the Sibolangit Campgrounds. Mileage from Medan – Sibolangit around 75km, and from the Main Door Campgrounds Sibolangit takes about 2-3 hours to arrive at Waterfall Two Colors.

The roads to Waterfall Two Colors, you can go back fresh for forest scenery and the air is still fresh. Unspoiled state that can be used for refreshing the body from any fatigue. However, on weekends, Waterfall attraction Sibolangit Two Colors in this very crowded with local tourists. It is advisable to come on a weekday if you would just walk in there.

Upon entering the Village Campgrounds Sibolangit Bandar Baru, you can along the forest with hiking or walking leisurely for 3 hours, and to avoid getting lost, you’ll want to be assisted by a local guide. Sign up at checkpoints and will report into the Waterfall Two Colors.

Waterfall Two Color altitude of 100 meters, sourced from Mount Sibayak, and the water that falls from the upper river will be collected into a small lake. The color of this waterfall of light blue and grayish-white, because the content of phosphorus and sulfur that will produce warha blue. Because it contains sulfur, you are prohibited from drinking water from Falls Two Colors.

Preparations to be carried over to the Falls Two Colors also have you think. Shoes for hiking, drinking water and a change of clothes if you want to shower for at Waterfall Two Colors. Do not wear regular sandals, high heels let alone ya! Waterfall Two Colors, also known as Blue Lake Sibolangit.

Bantimurung Waterfall ( Maros - South Sulawesi)

In Indonesian language, Bantimurung means "getting rid of sadness."
Bantimurung Waterfall is located at the valley of the step limestone hill with its fertiles tropical vegetation which makes this area an ideal habitat for the types of butterflies and birds that are famous for their rarity.


In 1856-1857 a pre- dominant English naturalist. Alfred Russel Wallace spent half of his life in this area. In this area he enjoyed catching numerous sorts of rarely found butterflies, birds and insects. 


Among the butterflies that he caught was Pailo Androcles type, which is considered one of the most rare and biggest type of butterfly that has a tail like a swallow. A detailed description concerning this place attracts the attention of most archeologist, pre-history experts and others. 


The area of the water- fall and surrounding is one of the interesting, enjoyable and fresh place, for walking and swimming.From the water- fall, you can go by vehicle to the National Park through the lines of limestone hill.

Madakaripura Waterfalls (Probolinggo - East Java)

This waterfalls not too far from my house, just about 1 hour. I love this place. So beautifull.. ^^
Madakaripura waterfall located in Sapih village, Lombang district, and it is not far from Bromo area. Madakaripura is a sacred visiting area comprising lines of waterfalls where its center reaches a height of 200 meters from the bottom. This waterfall has related historic with a great Prime Ministry, Gajah Mada, who strongly struggled to unify the whole territory of the nation under span of control of Majapahit, and said as “the last residence for Gajah Mada”.

This spectacular waterfall lies hidden at the end of a deep valley in the foothills of the Tengger range. The water has cascades from the dense forest above. The primary attraction is its natural environment that is encircled by 7 waterfalls and caves. The facilities, which are available, include; parking lot, food stalls, resting place and security post. The fatigue and exhaustion one undergoes from climbing the peak of Bromo, would immediately gone after getting a bathe with the holy Tirta Sewana so to continue the travel to other visiting points in Probolinggo area.

Toroan Waterfalls (Madura Island - East Java)


"Toroan" Waterfall is the only waterfall in Madura and is a natural uniqueness where at the end of the river, under neat that has steeply sloping riverbank beautifully carved and the stream passes that sloping riverbank, though the height of the waterfall is not high, about 10 M. This waterfall is located in Ketapangdaya Village, Ketapang district. It is easy to get there because there are much public transportation is available and supported by the good condition of the road. The location from the district Capital is about 3 Km, while the distance from Regency Capital is about 43 Km. Accommodation means provided this tourist resort is a rest house that is now managed by the government of Sampang Second level Regency.
